The school holidays are over and I can hear a big sigh of relief from parents!
Funion Bargee saw nearly 1,000 children join in the fun in New Bradwell, Woolstone, Blisworth, Great Linford, Stoke Bruerne and the Blisworth canal festival. The sun was out and so was the enthusiasm of all the visitors.
Tons of activities took place with kite making, fishing, circus skills, big art, porthole making, dragonflies and butterflies, cow decorating (not real ones!), origami boats, clay modelling, hammocks, tennis, badminton, cricket to name but a few.
The kids love face painting the staff!
A ton of sequins, pipe cleaners, beads, paper, clay, glue, sticky tape, string, crepe paper, paper plates and many more resources were used but without all this Funion Bargee would be a boring place.

The staff on Funion Bargee had a great summer and we hope you all did too. Don’t forget we have a gallery page where you can upload your lovely photos, we would love to see them.
The boat is still out and about until the end of October, why not check out the ‘Where the Bargee are we?’ diary page to see where we’ll be.
