Following the 25th Celebrations of the Re-opening of the Blisworth tunnel, the boat crew made the journey through the tunnel north to Blisworth. An interesting experience!
The Funion Bargee was then moored up in Blisworth to host a play session for the local children and families. The mooring was quite close to the tunnel entrance so it provided some shelter from the light rain. Children enjoyed some pond dipping or should that be canal dipping? Some children were happy to stay aboard and do some art and craft activities.
